Expected Litters
The R2 litter (Margot II vom Jagdkonig X Hans vom Seilerhaus) was born March 18, 2012. There are 4 females and 6 males. The S2 litter (Comtesse II vom Jagdkonig X Isaac II vom Jagdkonig) is expected April 2, 2012. These puppies will be ready to go to their new homes in May of 2012.

Welcome to vom Jagdkonig Kennels. We are committed to producing
German registered high-talented, biddable Deutsch Drahthaars that
thrive in a family setting. I have owned, trained and hunted with Deutsch Drahthaars since 1982.
Our kennel was registered with the Verein Deutsch Drahthaar in 1987.
We whelped our first litter of Deutsch Drahthaar puppies in 1987. We
have always enjoyed the hunting abilities and good companionship of
the Deutsch Drahthaars that we own. We believe our vom Jagdkonig
Deutsch Drahthaars do best as hunting/companion dogs.
Vom Jagdkonig DD's are truly versatile dogs, as hunters and companions. We have raised and trained eight generations of Deutsch Drahthaars on our mother dog's ahnentafels. We have successfully earned a Prize I, with five generations of our mother dogs in the ultimate VDD test: VGP the utility test. We have tested all of our breeding stock through the VDD/GNA testing system and we hope you will test through the VGP with your pup also. We prefer to hunt upland game, "following the dancing tail." We also hunt waterfowl 30 -40 days a year and our dogs are often used to bloodtrack white tail deer. We strive to produce the finest upland game hunting dog that swims like an otter, while keeping every bit of versatility intact.
